Our opinion
MaxiClimber is the affordable, calorie-blasting, body sculpting workout that enables you to perform both cardio and muscle toning all in the comfort of your own home. MaxiClimber works your lower body, core and upper body muscle groups at the same time, maximizing your time.
We are impressed with the heft and quality of the pieces. Our only observation which gives it less than 100% positive is that, while there is no danger of it tipping over, it is not 100% stable by that we mean “motionless” on carpet. It needs a solid floor, but it will still work on carpet though. It is fully adjustable, the height of the upper handles can be raised or lowered, although there is no resistance setting but for this type of machine you don’t really need one. If you want a more strenuous workout just lengthen your steps all the way to the bottom vice halfway down while using it.
The little clock/timer is not of much importance and you might as well not need it. The grips, foot pads, and frame are all impressive. This MaxiClimber Vertical Climber folds up neatly to be stored in a closet or un-obstructively against the wall. It is a good fitness equipment to buy.
Compared to exercising home bikes and treadmills, this vertical climbers is less heavy, smaller, compact and more of a space-saver. And since it focuses on your entire body, it is a better choice if you are looking to improve your overall fitness level.
